The holding of scientific professional extension courses in the health area has been developed by the Hospital Sírio-Libanês clinical staff for almost a decade.
The discussion of up-to-date relevant issues as part of academic and professional improvement has always been a policy of the Hospital Sírio-Libanês Teaching and Research Institute (IEP). Proof of this comes from the fact that, during 2005, around 380 events were put on, including symposiums, courses, lectures and clinical meetings. These brought around 6,000 participants to the Teaching and Research Institute.
